Toys For Tots Charity is Hoping for Last Minute Donations

The Marine Toys For Tots Foundation is hopeful that cash donations will continue to be made the last two days before Christmas.

Washington, DC December 23, 2004 -- The Marine Toys For Tots Foundation is looking for last minute help to enable the purchase of toys and gifts for the holiday season. The toy collection portion of the 2004 U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Campaign is concluding and http://www.toysfortots.org/home/donate.html [cash donations] are needed. The only way to make a donation at this time is to make a credit card contribution via the internet on the Toys for Tots website, said retired Marine Corps Major Bill Grein, vice president of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. http://www.toysfortots.org/home/donate.html [Cash donations] are extremely important to our program, said Major Grein. They enable us to purchase the toys and gifts we need at the last minute, which is critically important to our program.

The best way you can help is by visiting http://www.toysfortots.org/home/donate.html on the internet to donate online via Credit Card or Pay Pal.

Two companies have joined forces with the Marines to help with the last minute push for internet donations. We have joined the Toys For Tots campaign to help ensure every child on the list gets a toy this year, said Darren Cleveland of email marketing company www.addoctors.com. We decided that we could take the campaign online with the growth in internet use and internet shopping this year, said Jay Berkowitz, CEO of internet marketing company www.tengoldenrules.com, we knew we could help the campaign in its final weeks by driving visitors to the www.toyfortots.org website with internet marketing strategies and an online press release distribution.
